This was my first ever TIG welder. I’ve had the welder for 2 weeks and so far it seems like a great unit. It has all the settings and parameter adjustments a 2000 dollar machine would have for a 1/3 of the cost. So far I’ve only done Aluminum but it’s laying some dimes. I would give this a 5 star rating but the only downfall I have and it’s with yeswelder. They do not send any tungsten electrodes or the gas regulator in the kit, Even with the upgraded combo pack. This is an inconvenience that they could easily fix but don’t for some reason. It makes it not usable out of the box. The picture b…

Just starting my experience with TIG welding. The TIG-200P seems an excellent package for the price. It's well constructed and has easily managed controls. I ordered mine with the foot pedal, which, after some online research, seemed a necessary add-on for working with TIG. My only concern is the shape of the shape of the touch handle. The TIG touches I’ve used before have a narrow handle that can be comfortably held between the thumb and forefinger. The torch that came with the 200P has a thick grip that I am having trouble adjusting to (and I do not have small hands). Also, the instructions…

Love the welder as long as you make sure you have sufficient power source the welder works great. You’re not gonna weld 3/8 thick aluminum hook hooked up to 110. But any welders like that. For the money, these welders are awesome. I’ve worked in Fab shops and used Miller take welders only. These I actually like.
