ER4043 is an AlSi5 aluminum TIG filler with approximately 5% silicon, improving weld-pool fluidity and reducing crack sensitivity on suitable wrought and cast aluminum.

Why ER4043

First time using a tig machine ( primeweld 225) and welding aluminum.... Watched a ton of videos and I'm very happy with the progress so far, these filler rods are great... I have stainless, alum and mild and all work great.

These rods work just fine and are pretty clean out of the box. Why they make such short rods I don't know. I didn't mean to order short ones lol. I guess these are good for people doing a lot of 3 inch welds.
