Description
FP-5P-B combines arc-start switching and variable current control in one pedal, allowing the operator to start the arc and adjust output without releasing the torch or filler rod. Correct operation depends on the machine's foot-pedal function and pin wiring, not connector shape alone.

Control Functions
- Press to activate the control circuit and increase amperage
- Release to decrease amperage and end the control signal
- Listed control range up to 250A, limited by the connected machine
Connector and Wiring
- Connector: 5-Pin
- Torch-control circuit: Pins 3 and 5
- Amperage-control circuit: Pins 1, 2 and 4
Do not assume another 5-pin machine uses the same wiring. Confirm the machine manual before connection.

I just recently bought the dp200. I am mediocre welder at best but this thing makes me look good. It operates so smoothly. Feeds awesome. I've had other welders skip skip can never get anything done. And like I said I'm not a real good welder but this thing lays some really good Wells down for a newbie. So far I'm very impressed
