If you are just starting out and don’t want to break the bank with name brands like Miller this is a solid option. I’ve put about 15 hours into this unit so far and it hasn’t let me down yet. Has good adjustability for different material needs. Strongly recommend you purchase the amperage control foot petal it makes welding more intuitive and controlled. All in all a great addition to the garage and incredibly useful if you are a DIYer or just want a compact unit that really punches above its price point. I’m by no means a professional, however you can’t deny the versatility and cost savings this unit provides. I will happily be purchasing and reviewing more products from YesWelder
When I first saw these i was skeptical as you would expect, but man this machines awsome!
For the price you get a proper TIG machine with all the features you need (except AC but thats understandable). Pulsing works well, HF starts gear the rotating head torch from factory is awsome. Buttons feel nice and are fairlt easy to use with gloves.
collets, body etc are standard no-name, I switched to a gas lens with glass cup but those aren't standard on welders 5-10x this price. Arc is smoth, plusing is consistent, currents seem very similar to my other machine. If the duty cycle is accurate it's very impressive for a machine in this price/size, am yet to test that.
Time will tell if it lasts, that's the only possible issue I can see.
first on dead on arrival, bought on ebay tried to return it but Ebay wouldn`t give me a prepaid lablel, after a week of back and fourth weld mart told to keep it so I through it in the garagbe. bought another one from Temu works grate
Im very impressed with this little tig machine. great value and great performance. 110v ran well but 220v really unlocks the machines performace. i cannot tell a differnce between this machine and a $2000 machine. i reccomend anyone looking to journey into tig welding to purchse this machine.
