New welder who this
First time owing a welder and just starting to lean. But so far 100% love my yes welder
Surprised
Very happy to begin my projects. The machine does very well and is easily set up.
Flux and Mig Work Best
I recently purchased this welder for hobbyist projects. The mig and flux settings and feeds operate well. You still have to tinker with the settings. I found that the recommended settings by YW ran a little to hot for the 1/8 steel I was practicing on. Just a quick note, flux welding produces a lot of gas, I recommend you wear a p100 respirator when flux welding. I've struggled with the stick welding both with 6011 and 7018 getting the settings right for an arc and a good weld. Also, I've had good results with the Yeswelder 030 flux wire. Very easy to set up for a newbie.
User promised and over delivered
Works perfectly. All processes are smooth. Works better then my Lincoln

YWM-160 Flexible Manual MIG Controlled Multi-process MIG Welder
This has been the best portable welder I've had.
I got this as a easily portable mig to do jobs with when I had to go to the location. I previously had a Miller CST280 that the board decided to let the magic smoke out. A lot of the welding I do could have been done with a mig, so I went with this after seeing so many positive reviews. It has lived up to them! I have never had a issue with it and probably have 15 or 20 hours of welding with it so far. I love that it works on 120v or 240v. I have tripped a breaker several times when using it on 120v, but I just reduce my weld on time and increase my wait time. I have recommend this to several…
Mig
The mig torch lead is really short other then that it's a nice machine
Great tool for a fair price
I have been using this machine for a few weeks now intermittently in the afternoon. I use the smart setting and it works well. I am still trying to figure out the manual mode. Currently, I have not been able to find a good manual setting; but I don’t have 220v , so I am using the 120 v power supply cord. Not sure if that is a reason, or probably why I can’t get it to work well in manual mode. Regarding the customer service. I have had a good experience; anytime I have questions I get responses via email.
