The E7018 is a low-hydrogen, iron powder electrode known for producing high-quality, X-ray-grade welds. It can be used in all positions with either AC or DC reverse polarity welding currents.

Features:

Suitable for all-position welding, this electrode is ideal for welding medium-grade carbon steels without preheating, as well as cold-rolled steels that typically exhibit excessive porosity with conventional electrodes.
Offers a steady arc, low spatter, excellent re-striking ability, and high deposition efficiency.

Applications:

Perfect for use on low-alloy structural components, low to high carbon steels, offshore rigs, power plants, steel structures, and for tack welding in tubular wire applications.
