Let me start out by saying that I have almost zero experience with stick welding and very little with MIG. So I'm a newbie for sure... The machine sets up easily and strikes an arc much easier than I am used to. Playing with 6011 1/8" and 6013 1/16", I tried Amp settings as recommended and both higher and lower just to see how it changed things. My welds don't look good, but that's on me. I used the 1/16" 6013 at 120V input to help some guys at a race and fill in a small missed section of roll cage weld preventing them from passing tech, and it did the job. I have only burned up one 6013 rod, just to test it out. It has a nice stable arc and welds nicely. I have a few projects coming up that I will use it for. I’ll leave more feedback then.

I’ve been using this constantly after my sa200 went down, and I’m thoroughly impressed, I’ve probably never gave this thing a break for duty cycle and it keeps up, super light and small so it makes it perfect for working around the house. Couldn’t ask for anything better near the price point

I bought this to make simple repairs when we had emergencies. I have tested it out to ensure it will perform when we need to to and so far it works great. Light weight making it easy to load and unload and so far I have been able to put down some really nice welds.
