The cutter comes with a spacer, but it looks like this is for a different nozzle then the one delivered. Took me a while to figure it out as the arc always shut off. Without the spacer it works very well

Had the wife order the cut-55ds pro off amazon. It was at the house 2 days later. Running off 220, 50 amp breaker with my tiny 8 gallon husky compressor (4.8 scam @40, 3.7 scam @90psi). I need to wire my 80 gallon still. Put it to work on 11g plate (1/8") and a small 2" cut on 5/8" plate and had no problem. I'm running 75 psi on all cuts and just leave it at 55 amps. Very clean cuts (with a straight edge). Even the 5/8 freehand doesn't look terrible. Pros: price, delivery time, setup (with exception of red locktite on fitting where quick connect needs to go), size, weight, performance.…

You don’t necessarily need an air compressor with 7.5 cfm. Mine cuts just fine with a 4.0 cfm and I’ve been using it for nearly a year. Great little machine for the shop for sure! And the price is affordable! Cut 3/8” plate all day long with this!

Still too early for a comprehensive review, but right out of the box, it cut through stainless steel panel like I hoped. Had just a tiny bit of trouble with a severely rusted BBQ pit, but then it kept it's arc & finished the cuts. Yes, the ground clamp was attached to cleaned steel, just a tight space to cut dirty metal, no gig on the machine. I like the total control the machine gives me. I'm able to dial in a longer post airflow to cool the cutting tip. The only things I noted, unboxing, was a lack of cutting tips. Just a couple extra would go a long way toward customer satisfaction.…
