DP200 Welding Machine Software Upgrade Guide
Follow the steps below to upgrade the welding machine software and verify the software version after the upgrade is complete.
USB Drive Upgrade Requirements
- For the best performance, use a USB drive of 8GB or smaller. USB drives larger than 32GB cannot be recognized by the device.
- Do not use SD card-to-USB adapters for this upgrade.
- The USB drive's file system must be FAT32 format.
- Ensure that the extracted upgrade files are located in the root directory of the USB drive.
- Do not change the names or file types of the files or folders in the upgrade package.
Check Current Software Version
Before upgrading, go to the settings section of the welding machine and check the current software version.
Ensure that the upgrade package you download matches the latest version.
Prepare USB Drive
Download and extract the upgrade package. Copy the two .bin files and the private folder to the root directory of the USB drive (Type-C interface).
To ensure successful recognition by the device, do not store any other files on the USB drive.
Connect the Device
Ensure the welding machine is turned off.
Insert the USB drive into the Type-C upgrade port located on the wire feeding section of the welding machine.
Power On and Start Upgrade
Turn on the welding machine.
The machine will automatically detect the upgrade files on the USB drive, and the screen will show the upgrade progress bar.
The upgrade process takes some time, approximately 4 minutes.
Complete the Upgrade
When the screen displays "Update Finished, please remove SD CARD OR U disk", it indicates that the upgrade is complete.
At this point, turn off the welding machine, then safely remove the USB drive from the Type-C port.
Verify the Upgrade
Restart the welding machine.
Go to the settings section and check the software version.
Confirm that the software has been successfully updated to the latest version.
Attention
If the upgrade fails or the files are not recognized, please verify that the USB drive's file format and file location are correct. Then, try the upgrade process again.

- New Manual Adjustment Mode — Hold the Function knob to switch to manual mode and adjust wire feed speed and voltage separately.
- Updated Reset Method — Hold the Voltage/Back button to restore factory defaults (previously done by holding the Function button).
