Description
Pocket-size LG-03 provides engraved slot references for sheet-metal gauges, common fractional thicknesses and .024", .030" and .035" welding wire. Its stainless steel body includes a key ring for toolbox or pocket storage.
What It Measures
- Sheet metal: 24 through 10 gauge
- Fractional thicknesses: 1/8" (3.2 mm), 3/16" (4.8 mm), 1/4" (6.4 mm) and 5/16" (7.9 mm)
- Welding wire: .024" (.6 mm), .030" (.8 mm) and .035" (.9 mm)
Reading the Gauge
Slide the material or wire into the appropriate slot without forcing it, then read the adjacent engraving. Use LG-03 as a nominal size reference rather than as a substitute for calibrated inspection equipment.
