Nice lite weight welder, use these ( have two) for hard to get places, easy to run one big drop cord or use available power than drag 2/0 welding cable 100 feet or more x2. Have welded 1/8 6011 7018 some 5/32 7018, sometimes i will set one one next to me if on big jobs if needed ,nice to be able change amps to weld up something different without running back to main welder to change amps, diesel welder does the the brunt of the work, saves running back and forth. Saves firing up diesel to burn one rod alot,For the little jobs. for bigger job set up both swap ,back and forth between to stay in duty cycle. If needed ,Been impressed so far with these! have the 65 amp plasma cutter as well does great!! Will buying tig set up soon.
Phenomenal! From striking up the first rod to the last on a day- consistent and quality welds. Very happy with this product.
Wonderful problem solver! Comes with the 110 cord for your garage no 220 required.Ive owned this for over a year. No issues, light weight. Remember, its a plastic shell while you weld.
For the money, you can't beat this brand! I sell welding supplies and industrial gas. I like to offer cost-efficient options for my customers among all my hard goods. Over the years, I've brought in a dozen different economy welding machine brands, but never have I received as much satisfied feedback as I do with this brand. In the first week I introduced them, a customer bought one. The next day, when he returned, I thought, 'Oh no, here we go again,' fearing it would be returned. Instead, he raved about it and bought a second one! Needless to say, I've been stocking Yes Welder machines for around two years now, and I haven't had a single return or repair. The ARC-205 sells like hotcakes; I buy 24 at a time because they just fly off my shelves. The 250/205 MIG also receives great reviews from customers, and the MIG/TIG torches aren't half bad either!
I have been a certified welder for 37 years. This little machine is nice. Well burn a 1/8 7018 on 110v. I highly recommend.
