Build and Power: How Thick Can MP200 Pro Weld and Cut?
YesWelder MP200 Pro is a dual-voltage all-in-one welder and cutter that operates on 120/240V input. You can run it from a standard 120V household outlet for minor repairs and projects up to 1/8", using the provided adapter.
However, the welder shows its true potential, unlocking maximum power at 240V. At 240V, MP200 Pro can output up to 200 amps, allowing you to weld up to 3/8" thick pieces in a single pass. You can also clean-cut 3/8"-thick metals with plasma cutting at 240V.
The refined IGBT technology operates at up to 50 kHz, providing a very stable arc. New arc-ignition technology boosts the success rate by 40%, making it also suitable for anyone who needs reliable arc starts.
The welder features an on-demand fan that cools the component without the noise. A quiet fan handles regular cooling, while a strong fan kicks in when temperatures rise. That way, you can weld longer without noise and keep the components protected from overheating.

Smart Synergic Controls on 7-inch HD Display
Ease of use and control can make all the difference in everyday welding. Wasting time on adjusting the machine can be time-consuming, so we made sure MP200 Pro is easy to use and dial in.
What catches the eye is the large 7-inch glare-free, high-refresh-rate display. It lets you breeze through the menu without being a tech expert. The interface is highly intuitive and adjustable. You can use dark or light themes and imperial or metric units, based on anyone's preferences.
MP200 Pro Equipped with a 7-Inch HD Color Display
For beginners, there are built-in, recommended parameters for any applications. You select the process, metal, wire, or tungsten thickness, and shielding gas, and the MP200-PRO automatically recommends optimal parameters.
Smart synergic controls help you get a head start, even if you are an absolute beginner. They also reduce the time spent dialing in the machine, which is particularly helpful when working with new processes, metals, or thicknesses.
Welder's menu has a built-in virtual instruction manual and additional information. It contains everything you need to know about the setup, recommended parameters, and will help you get started in no time.

Manual Controls, Memory Settings, and Fine-tuning for Professionals
Professionals who prefer to fine-tune the welder can also use manual controls. You can manually adjust any parameter according to your preferences.
In addition to the basic parameters, there are advanced controls, such as inductance and burnback (MIG), hot start, arc force (Stick), pulse adjustment (frequency, background current, balance), and more. The welder also supports a TIG foot pedal for remote control. As a result, you get perfect control over the bead.
But that's not all. MP200 Pro has built-in memory settings that let you save and recall your favorite parameters. These are perfect for anyone doing repetitive work who wants reliable results every time. One-Touch Reset takes you back to factory defaults instantly so that you can start over.
The MP200 Pro firmware is updatable. We closely monitor performance and feedback, and deploy updates. Once the update is ready, you can download and install it via USB to keep up to date with the latest changes. The package even includes a USB-C stick for updates.
MIG Welding With MP200 Pro
MP200 Pro offers fully capable, suitable MIG welding with continuous or pulsed output for the best results. Besides the "regular" MIG, which lets you weld mild steel with ease, you can use pulsed MIG to reduce heat input and weld aluminum or stainless steel.
Provided drive rolls let you smoothly feed wire of different diameters (.023"-.045") and types (solid, flux-cored, or aluminum). You can mount 8" or 4" spools, with a simple adapter change, and adjust the tension as needed.
Can MP200 Pro Weld Aluminum?
With YesWelder MP200 Pro, you can weld aluminum straight out of the box. The provided graphene liner and U-drive rolls will help you feed the notoriously soft ER4043 (AlSi) and ER5356 (AlMg) aluminum wires, either .035" or .045". With advanced MIG pulse, you get one-touch parameter settings, with optimal parameters for different aluminum applications.
If you are working with thin aluminum, we recommend using a spool gun and smaller-diameter wire. The spool gun provides a much smoother wire feed with lower-diameter wire, since it crosses a much shorter path from the spool to the work.
MP200 Pro is spool-gun ready and compatible with the LBT150 spool gun, but you will have to buy it separately. Either a regular gun with a graphene liner and pulse, or a spool gun with small-diameter wire, the aluminum MIG welding feels really smooth with the MP200 Pro.

Advanced MIG Welding Pulse in All-in-One Machine
Pulsed MIG was previously reserved for state-of-the-art, expensive MIG welders because of the equipment's complexity. However, you can get it now with MP200 Pro, for even better heat control on heat-sensitive pieces.
YesWelder MP200 Pro features smart pulse control, with built-in pulse logic. The machine senses the welded material (stainless steel or aluminum) and adjusts the waveform for optimal results. You weld, and let the machine handle reliable arc start, reduced spatter, and smooth, clean welds.
Pulsed MIG delivers much more reliable, higher-quality results on stainless steel and aluminum. It helps you manage thermal properties and produce higher-quality, aesthetically pleasing welds.

TIG Cleaning Mode for Stainless Steel
One of the new features you don't see every day is the TIG cleaning mode. With the cleaning brush nozzle, you can remove oxidation (coloring) from stainless steel surfaces.
You can switch to cleaning mode in the TIG control menu. Make sure your ground is connected to the positive polarity, and the cleaning brush to the negative polarity. You will also need electrolytic fluid for stainless steel cleaning.
Dip the brush, then start cleaning the surface to achieve shiny, color-free welds. However, pay attention to the voltage, as you can burn the brush really fast.

Professional-grade Stick and Pulsed Stick Welding
Today, Stick welding is a common part of most machines, including the all-in-one welders. However, the MP200 Pro offers advanced features and settings for the best stick-welding results. It lets you take fabrication, repairs, and fieldwork to the next level.
First, you can adjust the arc force to improve arc digging. A stronger arc force is crucial when working with E6010 electrodes. You can also adjust the hot start for even more reliable arc starts on various electrode types. In addition, MP200 features an optional VRD (voltage reduction device) to lower the OCV and prevent accidental shocks.
But what really makes the difference is the pulsed Stick. Although fairly simple, Stick can also use a pulse output to reduce the heat input. Pulsing in Stick reduces spatter, creates smoother surfaces, and makes it much easier to remove slag.

Plasma Cutting With High-frequency Start
Like its previous version, the MP200 Pro also features plasma cutting, in addition to multi-process welding. Integrated plasma cutting uses a non-contact, high-frequency start to save your torch consumables.
To start cutting, connect an air compressor with a minimum of 55–75 PSI for 240V cutting to a built-in air filter that captures moisture. With a maximum output of 40 amps, you can make clean cuts on 3/8" thick pieces. The severance cutting thickness can reach 1/2", but it will take time and produce a lot of dross.
Adding plasma cutting to a multi-process welder greatly increases its versatility. You get a true all-in-one machine for metal fabrication, repair, hobby, DIY, or automotive metal work.
